前置詞:Prepositions

前置詞は名詞や代名詞の前に置かれ、関係を表す単語です。英語で言うところの「in,at,on,with,by」などですね。

• ka(kwa): by, with
• ko: in, at
• kwa: at
• mo: in
• le: with
• ka ga: about

ke tlile ka sefofane = I came by aireplane. 私は飛行機で来た。
O dira eng ko Japane? = What do you do in Japan? 日本で何をしていますか？
Ke bua le wena = I am talking with you. 私はあなたと話しています。
Ke bua ka ga lona = I am talking about you all. 私はあなた達について話しています。

位置を表す前置詞です。使えるようになれば表現の幅や説明などがスムーズに行えるようになりますね。

• ka/ko/fa tlase ga: below ~の下に
• fa godimo ga: on 〜の上に
• kwa/ko ntle ga: outside of　〜の外に
• mo teng ga: inside of　〜の中に
• gaufi le: beside/near　〜のそばに
• go bapa le:bisides　〜のそばに
• mo/fa/ko pele ga: in front, before 〜の前に
• ko morago ga: behind/back of　〜の後ろに
• ka kala le: far from 〜から離れて
• fa thoko ga: next to/by　〜の隣に
• go lebagana le: opposite to/facing　〜の反対側に
• fa gare ga = between with 〜の間に

Ntlo yame e gaufi le ntlo ya gago = My house is near your house. 私の家はあなたの家の近くにある
Beke fa talse ga steilo = Bag is under the chair.　鞄は椅子の下にある
Mosimane o fa godimo ga sethare = Boy is on the tree. 男の子は木の上にいる
Bolo e mo teng ga box = Ball is in the box. ボールは箱の中だ。
Mosetswana o fa those ga mosimane. = 女の子は男の子の隣にいる。
Morutabana o fa pele ga class = 先生はクラスの前にいる
Mosetswana o fa morago ga mosimane = 女の子は男の子の後ろにいる Ntsa e ko ntle ga ntlo = 犬は家の外にいる Mosadi o fa gare ga bana. =　女性は子供の間にいる。
